In the second talk by architect developers, architect Alex Wright will discuss Leybourne Road, two houses he and his partner, Chelsea Nelson, built in Leytonstone, east London and their next development, in Peckham, south London.

The series is aimed at architects who would like to know more about the opportunities and challenges around being an independent developer, including spotting creative solutions that a non-architect developer will often miss. Future speakers include John Smart, Donald Matheson and Sophie Goldhill.

Alex Wright co-founded his practice with Nelson, an interior designer in 2019. Prior to this he worked for Hawkins Brown working predominantly on housing and mixed use schemes.

The event will be followed by networking drinks and nibbles.
